Jansen's footmarks FTW. We dont even have enough left handers to force their guys to bowl around the wicket. So this is a bit of a Godsend.
So happy about this. I dont get many opportunities to watch test cricket

TBH, bouncy roads are right up his alley.
But he has looked absolutely dominant since coming in. Our other batters, Puji excepted, looked good but he has looked another level since coming in. Credit where its due.

I think pitch has something in it if you bang it in hard. SAF seamers have been too floaty at times or overly short. Jansen in that brief spell in 1st session looked really dangerous as he was hitting a perfect spot & line.
It'll quicken up but definitely more bowling friendly than the one in 2018. Ashwin will be crucial here.

Yeah it should but let's see.. I can see Bumrah causing all sorts of trouble but they should give new ball to Siraj & Bumrah. Shami as first change should be plan. But fully expect Siraj won't get the new nut

SA bowling speeds look very friendly in Nortje's absence. Unless there's an absolute greentop on offer somewhere, I imagine a few Indian batsmen would be lining up to have a crack.

Rahane also averages 55.35 in the 2nd tests of test series. And 33.83 otherwise. Should have only played 2nd tests.
