Fmd the MCG isn’t the best cricket ground on the eastern seaboard.

That's like comparing Don Bradman with Marcus Harris as batsmen. And I've never actually watched a game of cricket at either venue.

The difference is that England are still a top 4 side (admittedly Pakistan and/or South Africa might surpass them) but that Windies side was only better than Mugabe wrecked Zimbabwe and Bangladesh.

England are not a top 4 test side ATM, about to go 4 series lost straight with 2 of those at home.

No way man. England have good bowlers even if they aren't as good as Cummins but they don't have anyone else in the line up who are anywhere near Root as batsmen. Aus have 3 batsmen roughly in the same bracket and anyone of them will massively improve England

Tongue was slightly in cheek tbh - obvious answer is Marnus given England's batting woes. But Cummins is just more potent than Anderson/Broad and is such a good all conditions bowler.

He also plays (just about) every test. Would be invaluable for England
