That actually raises an interesting discussion point about individual performance vs team result and where different people draw the line. Lara's performance in Sri Lanka there may well have been the greatest batting of my lifetime, but some would always argue that it rates a little below the very top of any "greatest series" list since Sri Lanka swept the series 3-0 anyway, and as such his impact on the overall result was minimal to none.
