A 10 fer is unique by a visiting spinner in India. Agarwal scores a hundred against a supposedly toothless attack in home conditions but is worthy MOTM recipient? Could only happen in a kleptocracy. Highway robbery.
Agarwal was so good only Ajaz could get him out. His runs gave us the largest margin of victory by runs against a Test side. Ajaz had to carry the corpses of Jamieson, Southee, Rachin and Somerville.

You can be honest about your inadequate judgement.

*By India.

*At home.

*Against an attack you said was no good.

You can't have it both ways. On the one hand the attack was no good, so Patel's effort wasn't great. But apparently the attack was good enough that Agarwal's century was something special.

On the one hand, Patel was the only decent bowler and carried his attack, which was otherwise no good. Somehow this diminishes his effort despite bowlers regularly being talked up for such achievements. But on the hand somehow only having one decent bowler to face makes Agarwal's effort even more meritorious when there was no one any good at the other end.

Terrible standard of thinking tbh. You should probably go away, sit in the house of mirrors and and have a good long* look at yourself before posting again.

*say a year or two.

Can IND win in Asia with this bowling attack?
Bumrah
Siraj
Shami
Axar
Jayant
Unless it's expected to be favourable, why would you go with 3 pace bowlers though?

Secondly, the bigger issue with that bowling line up (depending on who is playing but let's assume Pujara, Kohli and Rahane) is that I don't think they'll make many/any runs when batting (at the moment) - especially if the opposition bowlers are halfway decent so the bowling will always be chasing their own tail trying to catch up with the other team's innings.

I think he should have been given the MOTM to be fair, but if you're being consistent, let's face it - it doesn't matter what he did because his side was humiliated, so therefore he's **** and his performance was utter ****.

Eh? Australia winning against India in India is unique
India beating Australia in Australia with their C line up is even more unique.
No it isn't. Australia has won in India multiple times. Therefore it isn't a unique achievement. India has won in Australia twice, so that's not a unique achievement (though last series in particular was brilliant from them). If these things are considered "unique", then every time you roll out a team with one different player and the team does something - anything - it becomes "unique." This cheapens the word.

What both ways? Ajaz was good but not great, given India still managed to get 325 runs when NZ only got 229 in both innings combined. Mayank himself got 212 alone, 17 runs less than NZ combined. It is diminishing his record that despite his efforts they still lost by 372 runs.

Again Burgey, when you get your eyes and brains back from whoever's holding them hostage you might be able to understand that a 10fer in an innings isn't necessarily that much better of a choice for a MoM award. It's pretty rich to say all this when you've not even shown that you can think so far in this thread.

This is precisely the appalling standard of posting one expects from these n00bs who suffer the sad sort of cerebral deficit expected from rampant fanbois whose one eye is located in their nether regions. This pic just in of Xixster watching the second test:

Still a lot of work to do with their batting tbh. Plus the spin stocks are pretty shallow atm. Young Sangha looks a decent prospect but there isn't a lot that looks all that good really. Then you've got to factor in the way they try to do funky selections and always **** up th eteam balance when they tour these places. Weird.

I'd say they're a few years off genuinely competing for a series away in India tbh.
Don't bring a leggie to India of all places. Bring a left arm spinner to partner Lyon. No better than Ashton Agar. He can be really dangerous on a spinning track like O keefe. Sangha or Swepson will be carted around in India. SLAO is the only kind of spin that can trouble Indians these days.

Yeah not a bad point this tbh. Personally not a huge fan of Agar at all but he might be able to do something if there's a bit in the deck. I thought maybe Sangha might be ok as he tends to bowl quite quickly through the air, but I really think it's too soon for him anyway.

Played India c team at kanpur and barely held on for a draw after losing half a day to bad light. They needed to play in their second home after getting a full England series as prep to beat us. And the moment their pacers had to bowl in non swinging Indian conditions they went wicket less lmao. Fakest world champs ever.
LOL Sanity you sound like a funny guy.
as it happens NZ are the ONLY world champions ever, and there is nothing fake about it.
even in this series, their schedule was overwhelmingly exhausting, and they were missing key players,
and even then they still managed to show great character and fight out a draw.
In recent times the following has happened.

1, India were smashed in the test series and ODI's by NZ less than 2 years ago.
2. India were knocked out of the semi final by NZ in the world cup.
3. India were crushed by 8 wickets on a neutral venue by NZ in the test championship final.
4. India were smashed and knocked out of the 20/20 world cup by NZ last month.
5. India were denied a win by NZ last week, from a team with about as much energy left as my 99 year old grandmother.

Now come on Sanity, you couldn't possibly deny that at the moment the blackcaps completely have the wood over India
both mentally and on the cricket field?
