The Don was proficient no doubt, as a selfish batsman. Stan McCabe is someone who did more for the world of batting, no doubt. He just lacked the ego to hurt his teammates with indulgent feats of runscoring. It's a tarnished legacy the Don holds.

The job for a batsman is to win matches which bradman did better than anyone has ever done and will ever do,McCabe averaged 48,bradman 99.94 in same condition for batting ,same era,that is enough to say how good bradman was.It’s like saying a batsman with average of 25 was better than lara,tendulkar,richards,ponting .Bradman scored 87.45 runs per innings even without not out,show a selfish innings of bradman ,just 1 to show he played selfish inning.
