Agree in of itself that sounds bad, but at the time he was on the receiving end of plenty of chat from most of the Indian team, I put that down to Warner just being a bit dense as opposed to any racist intent

To be fair, while I understand being suspicious of Root given how bad Yorkshire seems to have been, we cant go around throwing accusations at a national captain based on absolutely nothing. Root has had his mistakes but nothing about his public conduct from what I have seen suggests anything sinister. We should wait till there is actually reason to even suspect him of any issues. But poor guy is not going to be in a great headspace for the start of the Ashes.

We don't, really, as a general rule.

Curry has been enthusiastically embraced in the Peoples Republic of Brit, one imagines even the most knuckle dragging of racists has mopped up a ruby with a naan.

Although I think the consensus amongst that particular demographic is that now we have the recipe they'd quite like the chefs to return to the subcontinent.
