ZCC were 109-1 (15). Then they were 181-2 (19). It was only solid bowling from Rusty that meant ZCC didn't hack to 200. 188-3 will be a very very tough chase. 87 (52) for Shahboss, 74* (55) for Grobbelaar.

Mad mad stuff from Murdoch, but he eventually lost the uphill battle when confronted with Arif Jalal. 81* (45) from #6 from a man who hasn't passed 30 in 30 FT20 games. ****ing legend. 5 runs shy, but what a game.

Some stats:

Bobby Shaffrey has been dominant in my team's FT20s. He has 909 runs at 34.96 and 120.56. No one else has exceeded 550 runs. His SR looks weak, but no one sans Murdoch has over 100 runs and a better SR than Shaffrey. Shaffrey has 10 fifties in 34 games. The rest of my batters combined have 8 fifties.

Kurt Murdoch's 81* means he now has the two highest scores in all T20s for my side (he got 100* off 58 in a bot bash, which was pretty cool). What an innings lol, Murdoch WAG. He is the only AXI player to reach 200 games thus far, playing 203 out of 216 games. He has the most club runs, with 4377 at 28.42. Looks crap but is actually good, 5th highest average out of all players, after my 4 senior bats.

This is just awesome. Have you always played him down the order?

I've kind of been forced to because he's my only aggressive bat (and as he's Iceman - you get pressure situations down the order more often). He's had a few gigs in the top 4 but not often.

On a completely different note, no one in my team averages above 30 in friendlies this season which is a little sad.

Set a MAS of 999 for my bot bash because I can't be overtaken in the T20. Kurt Murdoch promptly smashed his fifty off just fifteen deliveries before running himself out for 60 (19). Steve Ludlow, 9 down, smacked some poor soul for 20 in an over and I got 208 lol.

It's Wednesday and scout day. And I pulled a 44 pot spinner with 24 skill already! 34 bat ain't shabby either, but SS and fielding are a shame. Alex Darnell. Does he fit into my set up and who has to leave to accomodate him?

So ZCC picked up this kid off the TM and aren't quite sure what to do with him:

He won't have much of a senior career, but at Dev level I'm torn between turning him into an allrounder or into a keeper batsman.

I suppose his bowling is so far ahead + effort bowler means I should take him down the AR route. Good enough fielding ability + close catcher so won't be a liability in the outfield. But I do need a new keeper-bat trainee, Jamal's 19 and I've got to start training his replacement now if I want a smooth transition.

Very interesting Z - I have no experience of keepers so I am wondering how long it would take you to get his keeping up to 16 - with how many matches per week (would his stamina be enough to play 2 every week and bat ?) ? and would you also have to coach him? I guess then you would need to buy in a specialised keeper coach - so then I'm wondering what level you would look for ? how much he would cost? how long it would take for him to come up whilst Asheesh sits looking at the weather forecasts instead of having someone to train him

This is not btw a criticism or opinion , just genuine interest to learn ! as I have no idea to the answers to my questions!

I happen to have two, Jeganathan and Jan

You can have Jeganathan for 1k, Jan I'm hoping will become a decent hitter and has some good Dev years ahead of him so he's a bit pricier
