Nasty bowling unit!

Pick the number 6

sunilz

International Regular
Rahul Dravid.
Has very good record in 90s. Highest overseas batting average in 90s (60)
Minimum qualifications: 1000 runs.

I change my vote to Dravid as well. Had a very good record in 90s. A near 50 average and a near 60 average overseas ! Home bullying is what he didn't do in 90s.

Also unlikely to get in 2000s team. It is a pity that such a great player might miss out. Same goes for Waqar, Pollock etc btw.

He was RSAs highest averaging bat during his career, and a genuine bowling option, not a parttimer. He's not sobers, but he's certainly not crap.
The crap was just an exaggerated counter point to @Fuller Pilch's constant plugging of him in weird threads. I wouldn't have him near an ATG side - decade or otherwise. He was a handy player and nothing more - given the talent available would rather pick a stronger bowler or a stronger bat.

Flower.
Okay going Flower then for #6 but actually swapping him and Waugh in the team for batting positions.

Jeez some of the players missing out in this team is ridiculous - just realised McGrath didn't get in! (Should comfortably walk into the 2000s team though I suppose).

Of course no Waqar, Pollock, Dravid etc but that was slightly expected.
