Whatever it takes!!!
Its the fake grass that gets them to think that way. It swings coz its humid and slightly less hot in the evenings and the grass binds the surface enough to help a bit of swing but the bounce is a myth. So many batsmen got out coz the ball stopped on them yesterday and we see DDP today do the same.

they're almost reminiscent of some 90s english and kiwi odi decks, where you want to boom it straight and use your placement to find the gaps. playing early or too behind square is fraught.

Also, it gets a lot easier when you spend some time out there. The ability to keep ticking singles and twos over will become more important here. Lets see how Sachin jr. goes. :p

RCB are the Auckland Blues of cricket aren't they. You'd think they spent all their considerable cash on batsmen, then you remember they threw 1.5 million at a fairly average t20 bowler in KJ, yet they have zero titles to show for all this recruitment.

What happened to the RCB kit? Complete overhaul in the middle of an edition, albeit an interrupted one.
They planned it back in April itself, its a tribute to the frontline workers who have been leading the fight against covid in India. Since the season got postponed, they are debuting it only today. These will auctioned off and proceeds will go to the frontline workers, it seems.

tonights spinner might be the difference when compared with last night, where those guys just dropped the ball completely. i thought morgan was about to make the same mistake as pollard.
