Seems a good lad who has seems to have put in the work regarding his batting over last few years.
He should be averaging more of course , although doubt he will be playing much ranji in next few years.

Yeah came in to post that while I missed post-lunch (watched the Bangers lollapse) I have a lot of time for Thakur's batting. Plays very straight and looks a talented player. Can't believe he only averages 17 in FC given the number of domestic sides they have. When he returns to Ranji he should find an opportunity at #4.
His bowling is already there or thereabouts - he doesn't have much more he can do there save laying off the pies - but his batting has a lot of scope left.
