I think the idea was to have as little overlap as possible between this one and the Pakistan series (pretty much back-to-back)? Guptill will be involved in that one. Phillips and Seifert are in the CPL, I'm guessing that arrangement was worked out already. Not sure about the others.

The Pakistan touring squad is made up of 9 from the Bangladesh tour squad (now 10 including Henry) and 5 T20I World Cup players that aren't in the IPL. The T20I World Cup non-IPL players (Guptill, Chapman, Mitchell, Sodhi, Astle) weren't selected for both Bangladesh and Pakistan legs due to workload / time-away-from-home concerns.

Based on the pitches today and in the Bang v Aust series, Phillips and Seifert might be getting better T20I World Cup prep in the CPL.
