English bowlers are more lobbers than hit the pitch. Overton and Robinson are tall though so interesting to see how effective they'll be in Aus.

Don't mind a loss here but need to bat out most of tomorrow if only to keep Eng bowlers out there and then hope Kohli wins the toss again at the Oval (and doesn't try anything funky if he does).

Yeah the good thing about this is Anderson looks visibly tired and we’re putting overs in their legs which is important given the short turnaround.

We’re lucky Archer, Woakes and Broad are out tbh.

Hopefully, he turned out for Warwickshire 2nds this week for match practice. But he was originally expected to be back for this Test before a setback, so we'll see.

England obviously still well on top in this game, but it feels like they missed a trick with the mini collapse in the third session yesterday to really crush India. Should have been the Indian bowlers made to toil in the field for days from the position we were in when Root and Malan put on their big partnership.

Well that's no good, he should rest a bit more imo. No point rushing back into it.
sure i agree...in fact anderson should get a rest for the next one as well, he is 40 after all...they should use his services more judiciously...

Curran being a complete wasteman is killing us here. This is the exact situation where Stokes would usually come in, do something different and take a wicket.
