It's amazing to think that between this and the squad in England that India have 44 cricketers out representing the country at the same time, and that in this squad they were down to literally 11 fit players, out of which 4 are debutants and another 3 have less than 10 international games in total, and they are still bossing this game.

Ridiculous depth.

Having said that SL has also lost players who were performing due to injury of discipline, KJP, Danny boy, Asalanka, Rajapaksha, Binura Fernando are few examples. These guys were the only sparks in a team who were performing horribly. It is a minor miracle that we pulled off the last T20I.

Would have really loved to see that, not sure if that is allowed. Even if it was, Dravid wouldn't have done it, coz it would have robbed an opportunity from a youngster.


Sandeep's batting numbers are hilarious! He is that bad at batting in domestic cricket, can only imagine how he'll do in international games.
