*Official* India tour of Sri Lanka

Whatever it takes!!!
Chameera needs more control. He's got the pace at the moment but very little else.

From all the debutants last night I think only Rahul Chahar looks fit for ODIs. Samson is ok but he's going to have to wait in line behind Pant and Kishan atm. Saini is crap and it's time to bin him from ODIs for good.

Sakariya/Gowtham might be handy in T20s but idk.
I mean, this was an actual D side really. But yeah. I wont write off Nitish Rana just yet. He was batting out of position. I actually would have liked to see Nitish come in at 3 and Sanju bat at 5.

I think he's a better prospect than Krunal Pandya at least

I think Nitish and Tewatia should be part of our A program which I hope restarts really soon. They should ideally bat 5 and 7 there and audition for those roles. In T20s especially though, Nitish keeps batting at the top of the order for KKR. A proper A team for us would be:

DDP
Ruturaj
Manish (c)
Nitish
Sanju (wk)
Tewatia
Hooda / 3D / Dube
Gowtham
Avesh / Ankit / anyone else who can do 140+
Khaleel / Sakariya /Arshdeep
Nagarkoti / Prasidh / Mavi / Tyagi

Yeah we need to find a way to develop middle-lower order batsmen. Everyone good just finds themselves batting up the order and can't really adapt to coming in later.

True but the rain and Hardik's form made it difficult. I am hoping it does dry out soon and Bhuvi and Chahar can get the swing that Chameera did there. Otherwise, SL with a very real shot here.

But of course, its a T20, it could easily be a 100 all out situation for SL too.

Migara

International Coach
Very tough to lose Rajapaksha when he was going well. Finally Asalanka shows what he is capable of. He is a big lad and that striking power was always with him. Once KJP gets in, and possibly Danny boy, the top would be pretty awesome. Danny / Avishka / KJP / Asalanka / Rajapaksha is a good line up. Unfortunately soem one is always injured or banned.

Isuru Udana has to go. He was a joke, is a joke and will be a joke. Binura Fernando should take his place.

Apex Predator

State Vice-Captain
Next game Kishan should bat at no 3.. Got wasted last night but played a useful cameo still.
Sanju should be pushed down the order. He doesn't seem to get past those 20's & 30's.
Kishan the keeper is Highly impressive as well than Sanju.
I think Kishan will find a way into WT20 squad as 2nd Wicket keeper & as an opening option too.

I'm proud to say that I witnessed the first run scored by the first Indian player born after the year 2000 in international cricket.

Samson got bowled like a mook here lol

He advanced down the wicket to Akila. The ball got 'big' on him and clipped his front pad and bouncing a few times before hitting his stumps. He was like about 2 yards out of his crease.

India literally only had 11 fit players left to select for this game. If SL somehow still lose here...

Hopefully no more injuries, otherwise we might see Dravid himself play the final T20I!
