I keep my squad open mainly because I like it when other squads are open -- it's cool to have a peek around another player's squad.

Looking at the MTO one, there's a whole lot of talent there, especially batting. And the fielding potentials are better than my team's ones! One thing I did notice is that there are a lot of young 16yos, which may as cnerd says lead to a tough transition period when the players are older.
My youth is largely due to the fact I only created my squad in May kept the good youngsters and have pulled 4 batsmen since. Everybody but one is under 22. In time and as they progress my plan will be to sell some and acquire some youth. Also I’m sticking to a current squad size of about 18. But future squad is planned to be 22/23 players. Hopefully can keep the quality going!

long batting some aggression to be shown. 2 all rounders getting full overs. See how it goes!

Strong team. Definitely a chance of an away win for them.

Morpork and Schmaltzberg both won their last rounds in CWC2, Schmaltzberg piled on a 152-run win against the Hunks to prove they deserved a semifinal spot.

In CWC3 there are three top of the table clashes: FHK (1) v Morpork (3), Jura (2) v GG (5), and ata (6) v ZCC (4). Some of the teams with slow starts should be able to catch up.

The focus at Morpork is still kind of at the global cup match at Dom Dom tomorrow, but the kids are hoping to give their seniors some support and maybe show themselves worthy of a late callup.

GG going gung ho. Highest run rate so far despite being three down.

Mooo looking very good as well so far. Dean finally getting Tipping toppled but the opening stand of 56 is a good platform

Mooo are still making hay at Schmaltzberg at least. Meyiwa continuing his good form from Thursday.

Free HK extremely quiet. Andy Li struggling and Agnes Chow ground out just 12 off 42.

Losing Sutherland is a big moment in this game. It's only the 17th over, and we now into the bowling allrounders, with Kasun Obeysekere coming in at number 6
One wicket is not enough but the tempo of runs is at least slowing back to near 5 after 21 overs - come on Jura find another....

Whatever it takes!!!
I have no idea how or why I do end up winning some games. I still cant figure out this game, lol. For instance, I have no idea how you guys get the combined batting or bowling points or whatever you get for individuals. Its all broken up under some headings for me when I try to look it up.

The combined batting points is under "expert preview" but it's on a different scale so a bit hard to compare

Anyway 33-run loss Schmaltzberg, McCormack had a pretty poor day but came back to clean up the tail. Veenstra's spells in the middle the difference - Steenkamp showed some promise but once he got out there was no one to keep up the run rate. Old Jura boy Kurusumuttu continues to pile on runs. The bonus point means Schmaltzberg avoids last place, which is something.

Very lopsided table, Jura's and Morpork's big wins means there'll be another top of the table clash next week.

I’ve learnt a valuable lesson after this loss against Jura: never play more bowling allrounders than batsmen.

As soon as Peter Sutherland’s wicket fell it was all downhill for GG.

Now that news of the escaped bull have been located in Long Island, Mooo ensured a thumping win against Dynamo Schmatlzberg.
The good thing is that Mooo are finally stringing together wins.
