Stumped!

FHK started well but lost 3 quick wickets. 12 overs to go and another 102 needed. Tricky situation to be in. Really needed one of Law or Yau to kick on.

One of the feel-good moments in Moooo's history.

Playing against a team that's rated more than 13k compared to us (Mooo 34K; Galle W 47K)

Some of the bowlers took some beating in the powerplay overs...but once the first wicket went down, the other bowlers came to choke the Warriors some more.

Jawad with 3, Captain Gul miserly for his 1 wicket.
And then came time to chase down this total. Chengelpet and Nazar started briskly...setting the pace. Meyiwa and Way supported Nazar well. There was a mini collapse at the end, but it was too late for the Warriors, we'd already gotten there with a boundary. Nazar was there at the end with an unbeaten 46 off 46 balls.

Moooo are on the rise!

I sold a few guys last week and today I went to check up on them to see how they are doing...I've only managed to get to Lyndell Trilby. He is now a groundsman at AD24 CC. I was expecting him to become a coach when he retired since he possessed a 50 batting potential.
I guess it's what he wants.

You can see them through transfer history

Thanks Mags, this looks like a great feature :)

Given you've already said you only want two of these guys long term, and only Kotze really fills the allrounder spot, I think that 5 movement (max skill of 12/5/16?) on Jones is gonna drag him down long term, even with batting and fielding. I'd prefer Oates (11/12/13?). Close call though, both useful No. 8s and late overs bowlers.
Yea I'd go Oakes > Jones as well. Both tail clearers, both with good fielding, Oakes the more skillful bowler. Iceman very useful too and 13 attack can get you some late boundaries.
Yeah I've decided Oakes > Jones as well. Bit sucky given I just bought Jones though (surely I can get him up to more than 16 variation given I'd be training him in variation/pace for 5 years or more and in my bot season rn giving him all the gametime he can get).

Just wondering whether it's worth it to dispense with Mohiuddin and then potentially get a good price for Jones 5 years down the track,

bit of a rant: Jones won't fetch much even when well trained, sadly. My experience is even well trained 21-24yos in that kind of bracket rarely fetch the same price as they did as youth pulls. This is doubly true for players who realistically peak in D2, like Jones will. You could pick up a fully trained Jones equivalent for 4-digit transfer fees on the market I reckon.

The way people on stumped work with their teams is training players because they'll fit into your senior plans - and especially to build a "core" with a generation that peaks roughly the same time with complementing skills - and not buy senior players to fit the round hole you have, because you'll probably need to plug that again in a year or two when that guy has declined and the market might not provide that particular piece any more.

As Mohiuddin currently has the skills to hack you to a few D3 wins in DEV and even against the weakest senior humans would probably list Jones now and see if you get anything for him, then list Mohiuddin later when/if a better bowling prospect props up through the scouts and on the market.

Yeah, fair, I agree with all that. Jones is listed.

GG are currently playing Moooooo in this unusual timing. The routine 40-over friendly.

The 'Iceman', Ahsan Hafeez is making his debut for GG.
He is slated to come in at number 6, which is after the next wicket to fall.

Moooooo putting on a disciplined bowling display so far.
GG currently are 63/3 in the 13th over.
