Bond (yes longevity and all that obv but even then) ATG ODI bowler, and whenever he could play in tests he was epic. Incredible record and insane s/r. I'd go with Bond.

PS: Ryano getting so much less love tho bowled some ATG spells imo. 10/10 will pick over ze fixer, who is a tad overrated here.

Harris had a Steynesque ability to take the pitch out of the equation. Classic condition proof MO. Asif obviously produced the most head scratching magic balls when it swung, conventional or reverse, or seamed. Also could look ehh on featherbeds though. This is all gut feel, of course, as Harris didn't play much in Asia and the same is true for Asif and MCG kind of roads. Bond looked the most pacy and lethal but also got the fewest opportunities to display his skillset in various conditions.

Still don't know who was the best tho.

bond was the ***iest but harris was just relentless which is why he takes the red ball comp for me. screw the press, johnson wasn't the best bowler of that ashes, harris was.

and?

none of these blokes have played much red ball, good you've figured this out.
Are you actually saying that Harris was better than Johnsonin the 2013-14 Ashes? Well ****

Rhyno Harris was very good in Sri Lanka. That too was in Galle. One man army in 13 Ashes and of course the cape town heroics all though if these 3 are to get full fit careers as 20 year olds, he will fall a long way behind other two cos he was very ordinary at the start

Id like an attack of these 3 though

Agree with flem, Harris best red ball, Bond best white ball sounds about right. Asif best when there's a little something in the wicket.

In tests, it should be Ryan Harris. He was your classic all conditions skilled swing bowler and showed success in England, Australia and the subcontinent. It is worth mentioning that he was bowling in Australia at a time when pitches were quite flattened but still did well.

Bond had the most pace but didn't do much outside NZ. Asif was the most most skilled but also the most dependent on good bowling conditions.

Bond because he had better stats, was way better against the best batsmen of his time Or best batting line ups, it's not even a competition - Bond was as good as any fast bowler that had played the game in whole history of it - it's just the longevity factor that could take it away from him.

In ODIs maybe, not in tests.
