Not enough #RunsOnTheBoard for ZCC I fear, tho the early wicket is nice. Middle order threw away a good platform from Raun and Heshan. Tough opponent in conditions that suit them as much as they suit us, so let's see how this plays out.

FHK with a challenging game away from home later today. Struggling with fitness issues to boot, need the seniors to really stand up and deliver.

It was a tough game from the start for Mooo. Timezone Rejects are rated almost 53K compared to our 37K. I guess some positives we can take from this beating was the bowling of Veenstra and Zahid, Nazar’s batting, and a bit of fight from the tail. Losing by 169 runs is never a good thing.

We are sitting at the bottom of the table, NRR is not too generous to us at all. We can turn it around. It is a long season.

I'm hoping I'll be able to develop Winton up, he fits a hole in my team. He replaces Courtney Brockman, a 21yo good fielding 25/41 bat. Bid for him if you want to!

Also, a new team has joined my Dev league. Fab.

All the best to Michael Winton in his endeavors with ataraxia. He just could not fit a role in my team and his performances were, on the whole, average. Although, he did showed signs of good performances just before I sent him to the markets.

I will be following his progress with your team keenly :)

Yeah, I've been looking for an older Dev batting all-rounder with not-bad fielding and Winton just fits the role perfectly. It will be a challenge to train him up but I'll be able to give him plenty of IGT with my season of bots; I'm hoping he gets to something like 37 bat/30 bowl skill.

Yea big result that for Morpork in CWC2! Sent us in to bat first at Dom Dom Memorial CG and bowled exceptionally well to keep us to just 136. The fact that Raun could only score 33 runs in 34 balls says a lot. We had them in some trouble in the chase, 65/4 in 11.3, but Fouche and Kotze bailed them out with a match-winning 67 run partnership in just 37 balls. Excellent effort. Was basically a full strength ZCC side too, only missing Bikswing Nouding. 58K for ZCC vs 53K for Morpork.

However FHK pulled off a good 7 wicket win over at Winton CC CG (should seriously consider a better ground name @JOJOXI :P ), and ZCC's success earlier in the comp mean both teams are still ranked 1 and 2:

Morpork in with an outside chance of making the final - they will need to pick up 5 points and a NRR boost vs the now-bot Picasso Moon next weekend. FHK will be playing ZCC, and will be hoping to take at least 1 point out of that game in order to ensure a derby final! Good chance for an all-Dynamo 3rd/4th play-off as well.
