Nicky Clift swapping out for Jan du Preez and then following his 133 with a 132 is nice. Big bad bot bash that Cup was, lol at 12-skill Zac Chambers hitting 46 and 10-skill Shingirai Ndaba hitting 29. :)

After the first week of the season Juan Goliath (24yo) is lead wicket-taker among CW teams. In 3 matches for me he has combined figures of 11-47. In 22 AXI competitive matches he is lead team wicket taker, with 47 wickets at a measly 11.21. He has got a wicket in every competitive game he has played for the team. Goliath has been the stand-out bowler for my team, with 128 wickets across 65 total games for the club, at an average of just 15.65.

In other news, Rusty Frost has become the second AXI player to 100 games, and Steve Ludlow the first to 100 friendly wickets.

Was looking fairly good in a SOD vs FHK but then my team collapsed to 197ao. Hopefully the chase isn't too straightforward for FHK.

Juan Goliath's the man!

The classic 'one brings two' sees 5DN1L with the number 5 batsman walking into the bat without his bat....

Scenes
the number 5 Nathan Law ends up clobbering a run-a-ball 67 to see us home by 6 wickets with more than 10 overs to spare. Good innings by Tin Yau too.

After losing 4 of our first 5 matches against ataraXIa, we've now beaten them 5 times on the trot. Record now read 6-4 in our favour. Maybe we can rest some of the seniors from the next game ;)

So just looked at my development league and realized their are only 2 bots... and I have top contenders like West Row Wyverns and Perry Pirates in the league. I expect many hammerings this season! Might be competitive near the end we shall see.

And MTOs have a round 2 Bot... :)

Smashed today in development, not surprised after I had to rest my best 2 bats due to poor conditioning. But experience and all that for the youngsters...

Good win for ZCC in the Dev, beating a team with slightly lower ratings than us by 6 wickets. Good IGT for all the bowlers and batting right down till 8.

FHK relying on Tony Chung to bail us out after a top order collapse yet again. It's a bot bash tho, so we should be fine. Dreading the fitness hit on Chung after this is done tho.

So Mooo were able to defend 202 thanks to McCormack’s four wicket haul.

The extras conceded by both teams in this match combine together for 108 (Mooo 62; Seemly Sparrows 46)
The amount of byes conceded by Woodcock (Mooo) was shocking :25
Wides for Sparrows was 39!

Did 61 wind played a part? Or simply bowlers with dreadful accuracy?

Whereas I have only two humans...

I've got a R2 CUP bot as well.
