Yeah, and 4 of the 6 wickets were from slogs to the boundary. Milne in particular got pumped pretty badly (went for 26 runs over 6 balls at one point).
I still pine for Milne tbh.

Legite swings the ball at pace. Yeah Ferguson has his slower balls and yorkers etc but he's pretty straight up and down.

Ferguson seems to get steeper bounce from his natural length, which makes him more awkward to face. Batsmen just seem to pick up Milne’s length and get on top of the bounce so easily. Just feels like he’s somehow bowling 10kmh slower than he actually is.

the only time i've seen milne get wickets for nz is when he goes for loads of runs, its never a good looking figure

economical tho, but then gets no wickets

I thought Ferguson was more of the swing bowler of the pair, tbh. Based on their Plunket Shield red ball exploits.

Nah, Ferguson’s definitely more the into the deck bowler of the pair. Can generate some inswing with the new ball, but Milne definitely does it more consistently.

Yes, I agree with you.

Decent inswing with red ball for Lachie.

Milne doesnt seem to swing it for about 7 or 8 years now, action tinkering etc since early days. But he's also played extremely little red ball in those years.

Milne was swinging it just fine in the big bash league earlier this year - albeit only for the first couple overs of the innings.

Brutal innings from Lord Colin. It's a pity he can't stay in England longer to get a few more first class games under his belt.

Couldn't find any update on Jamieson's muscle injury other than that he was having a scan.

Yeah, really happy to see that they're coming up to Whangarei. I'll definitely go along.
