Livpreet and Tudor both putting in strong performances on their way out of the club. Good win a week out from CWC3, this should be my best combination in these conditions, with a new young batter coming in for Tudor and Dynamo seamer Lickley coming in for Thakar

Okay so was working on that and realised something - all the 1st Jan 1970 matches are part of the 22 games scheduled for the league. That is, from 3rd July onwards we only have 21 games, the games from that buggy first round are needed complete the 22.

So we have two options

1) Accept the results of the 1st Jan 1970 games as canon and just play on from here. This allows us to keep using the points table and stats on Stumped as well.

2) Ignore that round of games since no one could set orders for it, play the other 21 as scheduled, and reschedule these games whenever we can. Use a manually maintained points table.

Let me know what you all prefer. I am okay with accepting the first round results tbh. Makes life easier.

who the **** is willing to pay 100K for a 39 Pot batsman?

Good for @JOJOXI though! Eugene going for a solid amount. There is literally a younger 45 pot batter with better fielding and bowling potentials on the market now for 200k, if I'm going to break 6 digits for a new player I may as well bid for him instead.

I want to share these prizes around, so each manager will be limited to winning 1 prize. That means come mid August, 7 people could be the lucky recipients of 3 months membership each!

In order to take part in the contest simply promote a BD Youth from your academy from 30th June to 11th August and post them in this thread. Please reveal their skills as well for verification.

Had to check Stumped once you said this! Interestingly seems like they are an experienced player - joined in 2019 - maybe there is something I'm missing but I'll take it.

On phantom games I'm fine either way - although appreciate its more sucky if you are on the wrong end of a phantom result.

Schmaltzberg 121/4 at the 30 over mark vs Ashgrove Astronauts in a senior 50-over fixture. Astronauts the pre-game ratings favourites 45k vs 40k, but the Dynamos are the home side. Pitch seems even paced but dry and worn, Davey and Grimshaw doing the job for the Astronauts atm. Reckon 220 could be an interesting game.

ZCC off to a decent start vs Pest CC, 34/0 in 9 on a fast dry wicket. We actually have a slight ratings advantage over fellow EurAfrica Div 2 side, 61K vs 57.5k. We've lost our last 6 SOD games to them in a row though! Would be nice to win one back here, but the lack of a 2nd spinner during the runchase might be our undoing. Need serious runs on the board here first.
