I can't believe I ate the whole thing
I hope the blackcaps players get to carry the mace around when they want, when they get back to Nz.

Kane takes his dog to the park and uses it to play fetch

Trent and Tim go golfing and use it as a putter

wags uses it to tenderise some meat for one of his bbqs

would be epic

WTC Final XI

Conway
Rohit
Williamson (C)
Taylor
Rahane
Pant (wk)
Ashwin
Jamieson
Wagner
Southee
Shami

No.7 is too early for Ashwin/Jamieson ideally but went with the players who performed in the match.
Sure, Pant scored more runs than Watling (from 2 attempts to Watling's 1) but there were 31 byes to Watlings 12. Granted, let byes are harsh to judge but watling was the better keeper in this match imo. 5 catches vs 1 stumping as far as dismissals go too.

Gidday guys! Long time viewer of the forum, first-time poster. Just gonna chip in on KJ's early days. I grew up with Kyle and played school cricket and age-group cricket with him. There's a bit of a PR spin on his batter turned bowler story. KJ was always a gun growing up, and was probably a slightly better bat than bowler yes, but funnily enough he was a renowned blocker and was big on occupying the crease. Kyles bowling went up a level as soon as he left school. Dayle got a hold of him at Lincoln Uni, got him running in hard, and he was bowling late 120's straight away. He made NZ 19's that year, and make no mistake - he was considered the best bowler in that side by the coaching staff, John Buchanan loved him. He was the best and he was the quickest, but most importantly, he was the hardest-working and most level-headed. For those wondering if he is going to continue to succeed, I personally think he will. He is extremely motivated and he's a really smart dude, and he really wants to be the best in the world for a long period of time.

I always thought big 3 referred to the monied up boards and countries that had the most influence. There was a time that SA had a team better than england, India and Australia and yet they were never included.

would prefer we weren’t included tbh
Big 3 is a pejorative.

Boult and Southee both want Hadlee's record. Realistically Wagner's body will say "enough" one day soon. He's probably also the most likely to go to 39 though like Hadlee.
Will be only temporary for both Boult and Southee even if they get the record. Jamieson is going to smash it.

Only byes are byes. Leg byes are leg byes. There were 4 byes for Pant and Watling's one. Don't waste time in future.

True to the votes, it was a competition between New Zealand and England's rain with India coming a distant third. Well played NZ and Congratulations! Wonderful moment to savor for all the Kiwi fans who tirelessly rolled here minute after minute year after year in search of that ICC win.

Well deserved!!!
