Also, the incredibly low scoring rate in NZ's innings and most of India's innings makes the high run-rate easy 40-odd runs given away in the first hour of NZ's bowling on day 2 stand out like dog's balls.

Yeah it's very noticeable that unlike in NZ batting doesn't become far easier after 40 overs or so. The ball just keeps moving. It's almost worth wondering if you have a go at the new ball, it's a bit harder for the bowlers to control and any edges would tend to fly more.

Difference in the game so far.

Really get the feeling one of these two sides is going to get rolled at some stage in the final two days ... just not sure which one!

Thought that was nearly dropped. The was a good catch. Kane to the rescue

Confident about BJ but not so much about CDG.

that partnership with Ganguly vs Sri Lanka at Taunton was major boost for both his limited over credentials

Best moment of a pretty bad WC for India. He completely outbatted Ganguly for most of that partnership, but Saurav feasted on some pretty bad death bowling to come away with more plaudits. Also a good time to bring up my favourite dravid shot ever.
