What is the mix of opponents in those Tests played?
Kane has played 9-12 tests each against all the traditional major test nations, 6 against Bangladesh and 4 against Zimbabwe.

Kohli hasn't played against Zimbabwe or Pakistan (non-cricketing reasons) but has played 20 tests against Australia and 23 against England, the rest of his split is similar to Kane.

There's definitely an element of the big 3 playing each other a lot over 4-5 test match series in the last decade.

The team that finished top should be awarded the championship though, let's be honest. None of this sharing bull****

In an even league, yes, but this was never an even league to start with. So I am fine with sharing the mace.

PS: Has nothing to do with our pathetic situation in the game, I swear.

If this was anywhere else but England (or Aus, or India) they would never be allowed to host an ICC event again.
Rains a **** ton in HK but we still get considered for ICC events.

Don't think they care about weather, just if the facilities are up to scratch.

yeah honestly i think this game is gonna be tight. india having to set a score in tricky conditions with a strict time limit will be interesting. in some situations the 3rd match innings is the hardest.
Why would either side risk something like that?

nah, would be a joke if say australia had india 150 all out then were 200/2 and rain came.

its a world cup final. finals are different. winner takes all.

I think the reason they haven't gone this way is that it'd incentivise one team to go for the draw from the start, like we see in the Sheffield Shield finals.
Yeah, I thought about that today. If that was the case in this game, it would be dire. And nor does it encourage a competitive final.

I dunno where people are getting the idea of this 60-20-20 Draw/NZ/India etc thing. Seems to me to be more like 90/8/2.

I also don't understand why Australians are posting in this thread.

I'm taking the Aussies stinking up the thread as a compliment or sorts. A back-handed one? Possibly, but a compliment nonetheless.
