Friday heavy rain, sunday thundery showers as per BBC. BBC is pretty accurate. Other days on and off rain. Looks like they need a result in under 3 days, it's still possible but what a disappointing start it'll be. I'm not sure England is a good place to have finals in June. Ideal it should have been later in the summer or in some part of Aussie where it doesn't rain.

Wonder if we might get a scenario where there are a couple of forfeited innings given days 2 and 6 are the only ones with a clear forecast.

That's a massive can of worms, I like your thinking though. Run it as a club-style one-innings, two-dayer sort of affair. It'll never happen but I love the idea

Yeah looks like 3 days at best.
A team would need to get bowled out inside 60-70 overs in the first innings.
