Kinda reminds me of a 1-0 win over Paraguay that I only vaguely remember. It's an okay opening performance so far, that is all you can say, holding on to the win, now is vital though, anything else sucks the energy out of the campaign.
Yeah, only iirc the pundits called out that for the dire performance it was. They all seem to be saying how well England have done here for some reason.Kinda reminds me of a 1-0 win over Paraguay that I only vaguely remember.
It is hopefully a win against our best group opponents, where we have let then have next to no chances, again it is forgettable, just OK, but a decent start to the Tournament.Yeah, only iirc the pundits called out that for the dire performance it was. The Scotland match could be a right hoot tbhIt is hopefully a win against our best group opponents, where we have let then have next to no chances, again it is forgettable, just OK, but a decent start to the Tournament.
Croatia are better than Paraguay tbf.Yeah, only iirc the pundits called out that for the dire performance it was. They all seem to be saying how well England have done here for some reason.
Yeah agreeCroatia are better than Paraguay tbf.
I guess it depends what your expectations were but I’m a bit less optimistic about England now than I was before kick off. They weren’t shocking or anything but much worse than the likes of Italy and Belgium were in their games.
So strange for an international team to be great at keeping the ball but bad at everything else.so wtf has happened to Croatia? Are they staging a coup to install Ćorluka as new coach?
I agree to a large degree but feel we had a harder game than Italy at least.Croatia are better than Paraguay tbf.

In the end, so many teams don't play their best at the start, we need to improve, but there's a decent defensive base, which actually wins Tournaments, depressingly more than attacking flair, particularly the Euros.Croatia are better than Paraguay tbf.

ageing teamso wtf has happened to Croatia? Are they staging a coup to install Ćorluka as new coach?
Yeah I don’t think anyone will have a great attack. It’s more the inability to keep the ball that would concern me. Same weakness that’s been holding them back since forever. In the end, so many teams don't play their best at the start, we need to improve, but there's a decent defensive base, which actually wins Tournaments, depressingly more than attacking flair, particularly the Euros.
