Helps when you have quality bowlers like Henry.I knew we just had to stay patient and the wickets would come

This is your faultI'll always prefer England at 67/0 than 85/4 at lunch on the first day of a test. Openers doing a job.
Think it's time for him to hit the pine for a while, yeah. Has barely scored a run since his magnum opus versus Pakistan last year.if crawley can't score here it should probably be curtains for a bit.
i don't know enough about the county options to speculate, but of players i know, pope had the game for it. lacks experience though.Think it's time for him to hit the pine for a while, yeah. Has barely scored a run since his magnum opus versus Pakistan last year.
Does leave Silverwood with a vacancy at the ticklish #3 spot though. Stokes is arguably the best qualified to do it, but would be increasing the great man's responsibility somewhat.
Not convinced Stokes is good enough to bat above 5 in England. Don’t think Bairstow is either. There is a case for bringing in Hameed and try him at 3 I guess considering his form not exactly many optionsThink it's time for him to hit the pine for a while, yeah. I'd be pretty unimpressed to see him selected, although I can't really talk as a NZ fan.Joe Clarke, maybe?
Different format and class of oppo, but looked in good touch vs. the Pears in last night's T20.
Although, given Twittergate, maybe his copybook is permanently blotted after the Hepburn rape trial and his subsequent fine from the ECB for the "disrespectful" messages he exchanged with the aforementioned convicted rapist.
Would imagine it is hard for him to get selected at present given all the focus on everything. Maybe his chance has gone totally because of it but his stuff is a different level altogether to being an ignorant idiot.Joe Clarke, maybe?
