I know New Zealand are at an advantage over India in terms of acclimatising, but 10 days of Test Cricket in the two weeks leading up to the Final is terrible scheduling and won’t necessarily work in their favour.

No, not really couple of spinners will be very experienced by then and there's a couple of young guys who will be good by then. Our odi stocks are pretty decent for the next few years.

Seeing NZ and Eng both are playing 4 pacers in ongoing test, Pandya's absence could hurt. Playing 4 pacers and dropping Jadeja will hurt the batting depth.

Only if they are any good. Right now Ashwin and Jadeja are both better bats and bowlers than whomever we pick as the 6th batsman IMO. And have felt this for the longest time, esp. since Jadeja improved his batting and Ashwin became good in SENA.

If the pitch and weather are anything like at Lords Southampton isn't too far away from London is it?), two spinners are a must. The kiwis look settled against seam so let's throw a couple of spinners at them and see how they cope.

Its not india I'm worried about, we have the wood over india whenever it matters the most. They can include 11 centaurs and our boys will still smash them. Just send location lol.

I'm worried about our kryptonites aka Australia and ooga booga icc rules.

Could always drop Rahane. He's had his one big innings few months back at Melbourne, will be a while until he has another anyway.
