Beauty of the pyramid isn't it, yeah never in doubt once Newport picked Scot Bennett, our Youth system players are just doomed to lose these matches, see Grimes, Watkins, and the countless ones that played for Exeter.

glad we won't have to play Morecambe, next season not glad that Exeweb will say we should play football exactly like their shithousery to go up, neatly forgetting 80% of the division play that way and most don't go up.

They throw themselves around (three joke penalties against us this season and a lot of other dubious penalties throughout the season) and waste time and spoil. To be fair they do play a bit of football when in possession.

That'll be fun for you, Lincoln aren't quite as bad without the Cowleys are they, can't say I watch them much.
Yeah but we also have Portsmouth now as they are there.

Thought very early on the winners today will go down next season as they both looked very ordinary.

Wasn't a great L2 full stop. All the more frustrating how we squandered promotion but hey ho. I'm sure B**ton and their millions of pounds will be fine but the other three will all likely struggle I reckon.

It never is though. have this argument so often on Exeweb, it's the basement Leugue, this year has looked particularly awful becaus without fans you can really concentrate on the football, and bloody hell that's not a good idea.

Yeah that's fair. I don't have a lot of experience in this division. The promotion from it in 89 was before my time. In 14-15 we passed straight through the wrong way and then same again but the good way in 18-19. There's usually sides you are impressed by though. Tbh the only one that really jumps out from this season is your lot.

Ancelotti is leaving Everton to take over at Real Madrid.
Can't blame him. Champions league football at one of the biggest teams in the world or trying to ship out duds like Iwobi, Delph and Gomes just to bring a few men in to try and make the Europa League in 12 months time.

I gather that Swansea's Steve Cooper is now favourite to replace Hodgson. All I know is that he managed England's U17 side that won the WC a few years ago, and that Swansea made the play-off final. As I said about Eddie Howe the other day, we could do a lot worse.

Commiserations DCYE but congrats @JOJOXI.

Chelsea the better team by a lot on the day.
Also thanks, had seen this and meant to respond to it earlier.

Was surprised by how open the early passages of the game were for a Champions League final but yeah think a deserved victory.

Intrigued where next for Pep - was thinking at some point (can't actually recall if it was before or after the final) if Pep to Barca could be a thing in the next 12 months or so. Winning the CL with Barcelona again would be a bigger achievement and whilst I think Man City will eventually win it you'd think this was Pep's big chance.

I'm pretty sure he's quite highly regarded as a coach, so I think you'd be well placed to get young loans. Thinking the likes of Billy Gilmour if Chelsea were receptive to it.

Yeah loans have been a huge part of his success at Swansea, their fans are not all that keen on him though.
