This is the man i`m using as wk.
Not as good in the batting but alright, high enough in the wk to already be safe. Plan is for Modii to be a batter and possible 2nd squad wicket keeper for now.

I'd have Hanekom as reserve wicketkeeper, and only use him in games where you need to win (like vs other human teams in the league, or in friendlies). His batting potentials aren't good enough for him to still be in your squad 5-6 seasons from now, and at his age his keeping skill won't really decline much from underuse.
Todii should be on coaching for his batting and keeping, and should keep wicket in every Dev game and senior league game vs bots. One his skill gets to around 8/9 he can keep wicket in all your competitive games, and when you need to rest him Hanekom can take the gloves.
In other news - ataraXIa currently 36/3 chasing 276 vs FHK. We should have this in the bag.

The 'Quick Runner' isn't very Ranatunga, but the fact that he'll be involved in an above average number of runouts as a result is fairly accurate lol
do keep an eye on the TM tho! So you get an idea of how the market is. That way when you are ready to make a purchase, you'll also be able to identify what a good deal is.

Ah darn, 7 down now. I'm no chance.
I think @StephenZA you can venture to get a better player than Ekanayake. Great potential but unlikely to be realised. I got 22yo, 32/33 skilled Nicky Clift off the TM for $2K. He'll stay in my side for a few seasons at least, but I doubt Ekanayake would be the same for your side. That said, I don't have experience in the game so IDK how you'll go training him.

I am definitely keeping an eye on the Market. I`ve put a bid on a few players. I am hoping to get better players than Ekanayake. But he is only my second batsmen that actually has a skill above 10 in any batting. I literally grabbed him cheap so that I can solidify my batting while I build my squad.

For me none of my starting squad had skills above 10 in batting or bowling, so YMMV I guess. Just remember on the TM to focus on getting young players, and prioritise potentials over starting skills, as it's much better in the long term.

Oh well. ZCC have been so impressed by your performances they want to host you for a game.

What a game by Kurusumuttu. Two big wickets and then a calm and collected 72 not out.
The Morpork match was a bit less eventful, and I think they still need a win over big ZCC to have any shout of a final, but a good outing.

Yes. That was a thrashing( I’m slowly becoming the whipping boy team of all CW members).
Even thought the difference between rating points was around 2500, your team played like professionals.
