Chelsea not winning is one of those things I will always enjoy, I think.
Yeah, I enjoyed that yesterday. Not so much the Chelsea players and manager, who seem inoffensive enough, but the same can't be said for a fair number of their fans. Or their owner of course. Seeing Leicester win was fun. It would take a hard heart not to warm to the chairman visibly welling up after the final whistle. And it was brilliant to have fans back in the ground. fwiw I'm struggling to remember a better winning goal in a FA Cup final. Ricky Villa in 1981 and Norman Whiteside in 1985 the other contenders.

Not a winner obviously, but Gerrard's equaliser against West Ham, given the context and moment of the match etc, takes some beating as far as cup final goals go for me.

Now it's being reported Ramsey wants to come back. I mean, if we're going to be shite, we might as well have players we actually like.

I don't remember it contemporaneously, but Charlie George's ping that won the Arse the double in 71 was a goal worthy of the occasion. Outside the box, right foot, never got more than four feet off the floor and beat Clemence at the near post.

But for stuff I remember happening, it's only Ray Parlour:

How'd you like them apples, Lovejoy? Hornet-loving chav ****.

"It's only Ray Parlour" just such a dumb statement. The goal that immediately followed notwithstanding, Ray Parlour was awesome. One of my favourite ever Arsenal players.

That's a World class ****ing header, no matter what you think of the teams, that's a ****ing moment.

Gotta say, thought this season was dribbling towards a depressing end, but there's been fun in this weekend, even Palace-Villa was a cracker, and who'd have thought that?

Good calls both of them. Naturally I had forgotten the Parlour strike, being less than 25 years ago. As for Charlie George, I did remember him but thought better as I just didn't like that Arsenal side. I never said I was reasonable about these things. Good celebration though.

Allisons interview was pretty raw and emotional, it all seems a bit odd as it's basically beating a relegated side to still give you an outside chance of Champion League football, but it genuinely does seem a special moment.

That's what we need to remember in football, it is about the emotions, not reason.

Outside chance? Two wins and they're there.
Still not necessarily. If they win both by one goal and Chelsea beat Leicester by one and win their other match and Leicester beat Spurs by 4 they could miss out. But besides that the emotion from Allison was more about losing his father.
