He's a great starting team player. Good stamina and skills suited to batting top order, then I'd have him either bowl or keep depending on team balance/conditions/fitness levels.

Tony Chung's keeping has come along now to the point where I trust him with the gloves against good opposition, and I've got Nathan Law as backup keeper (potential 15 but current skill only 2 - will be taking the gloves against bots for the rest of the season). With Tiffany Yuen joining the seam attack, I figure it's time to part with Ghaffar Khan. Good player but his potentials aren't great, especially compared with the talent I've got coming up the ranks.

Kind of like John Weller in my team, but much, much better. And a specialist bowler is going to be my DEV keeper in a few weeks' time, so what do I know.

In other news, Craig Aylmer brings up ataraXIa's first century against top-of-the-table affiliate Tobe Determined CC, after he narrowly missed out earlier today.

DEV teams should pick keepers with low skill but high potential imo. It's fairly easy to get a decent keeper out of that with 2-3 seasons regular game time.

Raun Shkorer with 101* off 69 as ZCC pile up 319/5 batting first in today's league game, but I'm still dreading that we're going to lose in spite of that effort. Opposition are already 63/0 in the 18th over. Pitch is 90/1/77 - absolute beaut to bat on once the ball has lots its shine. We needed new-ball wickets and didn't get them. Bad feelings here.

Veteran Luke Giddings with the breakthrough! Need a few more tho.

My first official senior OD game is about to start soon. Judging by yesterday’s friendly against @ataraxia my team is weak in batting and bowling. Just a couple of decent players. Development will take some time. I’m just hoping for a better performance today.

Good first innings that from Mooo. A very disciplined bowling performance. My boys shot out Not From The Wrists for 132 in 43 and a half overs. Speedster Gulshan Giridhar being the wrecker-in-chief picking up a five wicket haul, he was supported by Hector Connor, who was miserly with figures of 7-2-9-2. The other wickets going to leggie Lavanya (1 for 29) & SLA Michael Winton (1for 1).

We have just lost opener Nazar in the chase. Trilby is once again the key man to this chase.

All coming apart a bit for the cows. 95/6 in what should be a comfortable chase

The affiliate managed 267/7 despite barely averaging 25k in batting ratings :wacko:

Yeah, it’s probably stage fright for most of these players. I’m impressed with the bowling tho.

'Once in a lifetime' is probably the right phrase to describe the crop of young talent coming through FHK at the moment. @morgieb's Wombats are arguably struggling more than jimmy's Picasso Moon - the manager only logging in for a grand total of 3 days since creating the team, and the side facing relegation from Div 4 (is that even possible?). After their big win today, FHK will be sensing a chance at making the CWC finals, and to do that they'll need a big win tomorrow. Do they go in with a youth-heavy side, or go in all guns blazing looking to make a statement? Either way, it's hard to see them losing this one.

Is my side at risk of going bot?

And more to the point, what kind of hints can you give me? Seems far more complex than FTP and even that took a while to crack.
