Stumped!

Alright, my friendly match against @ataraxia is about to begin..., we have won the toss and elected to bowl first. Our rating is almost 32,000 whilst ataraXIa's is 38,6000.

I hope for an upset. Lots of runs as well.

International Coach
Good win there, shame Aylmer couldn't get my first 100. Aylmer and Shaffrey are not really long-term prospects, but it's good to have them there nevertheless.

I'll send out another challenge to you SCC, a T20 at my home ground in 26 and a half hours.

So a full strength ZCC side just lost at home to FHK in a Friendly T20 :-O:blink:

A sign of how far one side has fallen and the other has risen. 59K for ZCC, 53K for FHK!

I dare say FHK have better young talent coming through the ranks as well. Just promoted a 41/43 allrounder with Death Bowler and Tail Clearer traits. 18 fielding and batting well suited to playing in the lower order. Quite a generation of talent in this side. Skipper Tin Yau has just been selected for the BD National side as well (and trust me, the fact that his manager is assistant coach of the team has nothing to do with it  )

Due to this new youngster joining the squad, 19 year old Ghaffar Khan - batter, keeper and useful seam bowler - has been transfer listed. He hit 65 off 48 as FHK chased down 163 against ZCC today, so the kid can play.

@SillyCowCorner1 ZCC have sent you a friendly challenge for this Sunday, while FHK have challenged @ataraxia

Season 2 of the CWC kicks off tomorrow! 8 teams playing a double-round robin of T20 games, with the top 2 sides potentially playing in a final.

Quick preview of the upcoming games:

ZCC vs @jimmy101's Picasso Moon
Despite recent poor form and struggles with a transition period, defending CWC champs ZCC should cruise this easily. Picasso Moon are a relatively new side, ranked 260th in world and 4th in EurAfrica Div 3.9 (a league ZCC could find themselves in soon if they don't start winning some games...). Furthermore their manager hasn't been seen or heard from in over a month. ZCC plan to field a weakened side for this game, but will need to be wary of slipping on the proverbial banana peel - their 2nd XI has already dropped a game to newcomers atraXIa, and their full strength side just got beaten by FHK!

Dynamo Morpork vs Dynamo Schmaltzberg
This @Magrat Garlick derby as already raised whispers about potential shenanigans, but push comes to shove one expects a good clean fun game of cricket. While it's to be seen if Morpork field a slightly weaker side to match the level of Schmaltzberg, it's for sure that they will not want to drop a game to their affiliate side. Especially with the form that ZCC have been in - they could be eyeing a spot in the finals if they do everything right.

FHK vs Inner Western Wombats
'Once in a lifetime' is probably the right phrase to describe the crop of young talent coming through FHK at the moment. @morgieb's Wombats are arguably struggling more than jimmy's Picasso Moon - the manager only logging in for a grand total of 3 days since creating the team, and the side facing relegation from Div 4 (is that even possible?). After their big win today, FHK will be sensing a chance at making the CWC finals, and to do that they'll need a big win tomorrow. Do they go in with a youth-heavy side, or go in all guns blazing looking to make a statement? Either way, it's hard to see them losing this one.

Winton CC vs Honest Hunks
@JOJOXI 's Winton CC were the revelation of CWC season 1, having come in from outside the competition to make it all the way to the finals. Now stronger and wiser, they will be hoping to go one step further, and it all starts tomorrow against @honestbharani's Hunks. The enigmatic manager has done enough to keep the side functioning, and even pulled off the upset of the season last year against Dynamo Morpork. But other commitments have kept him from realising his side's true potential. Will he be able to turn it around this season, or will his side be the league whipping boys once more?
