MSD has overstacked his batting today. They need Tahir as their aggressive spin option. Two defensive spinners who are both wont to get tonked in this format is not what he wants. Tahir for Faf and this side looks so much better.

Dhoni should simply open the batting for CSK IMO. He is smart enough to just score a few boundaries when the field is in. CSK has enough players who can keep the scoring rate up in the last 5 overs. For some weird reason, in the last 2-3 years Dhoni hasn't looked comfortable whenever he has tried to go after the bowlers from ball one(towards the end of the innings).

He is a not a good commentator, but still tolerable. He just says the obvious and doesn't add anything insightful. But we have very few good commentators at the moment, so can't really complain, despite of being average, he is better than most at the moment.

Depends on what you expect from a compere. He's ok in that capacity IMO, not as big a cheerleader as Nicholas for sure (though Nicholas the writer is far more insightful than what he lets on during his TV stints). Also have fond memories of watching Wilkins in the studio with Vijay Amritraj for tennis grand slams back in the day

Its funny but I think CSK will do well. They need a strike bowler and either of Behrendorff or Tahir can do the job instead of Faf. An important win for DC coz I feel they may struggle at some point in the tournament and these points and NRR will help them.

Nope, they have too many options in their bowling department. Plus they have batters all the way down to number 10, all of them are capable of scoring a few sixes. Very strong unit, just need to do something about MSD, he is definitely not needed lower down the order coz he just doesn't look comfortable going after the bowlers from ball one(wasn't the case with him a couple of seasons back).
Also, dew factor in Mumbai is a huge issue, teams bowling second have a major disadvantage.

Its what the BCCI wants. Its usually school holidays in April and May and they wanna ensure there is 1 game every night for maximum eyeballs and sponsorship moolah.
Yeah i know but this year there is a 20 20 world cup coming up and a world test championship final, that is more important that india win those and the players are well rested going into these important matches.
