Surely it can't be that hard to deliver 90 overs a day? FC matches often have 96 or 98 overs a day and ODIs have 100 - but tests are around the 85 mark currently? It's annoying and odd.

It's quite incredible how Nkrumah Bonner and Kyle Mayers have performed so far. Neither had first class records to write home about, but they've both taken to tests with aplomb, and they're looking assured today.

Amazing how tense final days like this are - on paper each remaining wicket lasting 3 and a half overs or so to see out a draw should be very comfortable but it still feels remarkably tense following the comms on Cricinfo

Sounds like prospect of 100 is getting to Bonner hopefilly he can get over the line and regroup

Edit - Cricinfo had initially said that 'shot' was by Bonner although been corrected to Blackwood in which case Blackwood doing Blackwood

I thought rain was going to stop his ton then. The groundsmen in the Caribbean don't normally stand with the covers ready for no reason!

Well I am glad the brunt of concerns for this match only are on the bowlers - but think I'd still bring a batsman in - Bravo for Joseph and C Holder for Gabriel perhaps although more concerned by Joseph them Gabriel. Joseph has had good moments but not really been good consistently, would still back Gabriel to come good and even if he didn't it's been a good ride for a niggle prone bowler cannot realistically expect too much longer out of him - it feels like for Joseph like there hasn't been a big jump in development for him yet. At which point do the selectors think enough is enough (in red ball)

Mayers is underused with the ball when there are 4 other seamers on the pitch. Bravo in at 4 for Joseph for me
