Prasidh's 4-fer and Krunal's 50 are both records for debutants. Good game over all, this somehow turned from a thrashing we almost looked like we would be on the wrong end of to dishing one out ourselves.
Still get the feeling watching him that he is a natural red ball bowler like Siraj, these young indian pacers are quite good even when they don't have a lot of experience behind them.

Krunal got smashed at the start of the game, so did all the other bowlers. And just like all the others, he made a comeback. He was bowling against two left-handers at one point and managed to keep them quite and create pressure.
Personally, I am not a fan of Krunal, but India should have a 6th bowling option in ODIs and he can create one in Jadeja's absence.

We need to give Stokes the opportunity to influence matches more in the shorter forms. Obviously Root would normally come in at 3 and would go about his business differently to Stokes in the same role. Root accumulates risk-free at a run a ball and before you know it he’s serenely moved 30 not out off 30 balls. Stokes will take his time to get himself in and rely on catching up on his strike rate as he gets more comfortable at the crease.
For me we need to use Stokes more, I think he’s more than capable at batting 3 allowing him the time to build an innings of real match defining substance. Give your better batsmen the chance to face as many deliveries as possible.

I don't know what magic potion Kohli has found, but his captaincy in the last two T20s and the last ODIs was really good. Hope he keeps it up.
