Good to see Dhawan scoring runs, but if he's not in the framework for the next ODI WC he probably shouldn't be playing. India is probably treating this series an an extended T20 WC prep.

Englands attack looks purposeless without the early wicket taking ability of archer+woakes or, on a longer term scale, no Plunkett and an out of form Moeen resulting in Al lack of middle over wickets.

See, protection is needed for this game. No use saying he is not afraid of the cricket ball. Why do wicket keepers wear gloves? Or batsmen wearing helmets? Raman Lamba said it is just two more balls to go and from the next over he would wear a helmet at a close in fielding position. But he suffered a fatal head injury the next ball.

Sam Curran is very skillful in bowling these cutters. Definitely alot more to him then a pitch-up swing bowler

This team is light death bowlers. Not sure why Stokes wasn't given one, has been decent in the past, if inconsistent.

Well, he is the 6th bowler, just there to bowl a few economical overs. He is the closest thing to Jadeja in limited overs cricket for India. I am not saying he is better than some of the other options we have, but he fits this team combination really well.
