He’s had a bad season, but generally he’s a winner. I still think he’s their best chance of getting straight back up. He’ll get another job, maybe a decent Championship team, and get them promoted.

That's enough about Neil Warnock. Let's get back to discussing Chris Wilder.

It must be some sort of record for a trophy. Last seasons Splatt Cup Final is today - Pompey v Salford. Whoever wins the trophy will have to hand it back for this seasons Final tomorrow - Sunderland v Tranmere.

His recruitment has been ****ing shocking.

Who the **** looks at a team that's finished 9th and goes 'hmm, we could do with Oli Burke up front'

Burke and McBurnie are barely SPL standard FFS.
Don't forget Brewster and allegedly he was 100% sober when he signed the abysmal Ramsdale.

They have been pretty dire since coming back from covid so yeah it could go Pete Tong, but let's see.

48 years ago today I saw Pele play at Home Park. From 1959 to 1973 Santos used to do tours and extort money (literally in this case) from fans wanting a glimpse of the great man.

Portsmouth have sacked Kenny Jackett. Obviously losing last seasons Salt and Pepper Trophy Final yesterday was a calamity. Maybe they've got Chris Wilder lined up.

It would be funny if West Ham finished 4th but then Liverpool (or even Chelsea) win the Champions League and either Spurs or Arsenal win the Europa League without making the top four. I think West Ham would miss out. It’s a lot of improbable “ifs” and that might not be the rules anyway, but the football today has been boring.

The Spurs collapse is great tbh. So many of their fans giving it Barry about how they were going to win the league earlier in the season. Suck it you *****, enjoy joining us in/returning to mediocrity.

Really, many days you can say that this year, but today has been quite fun TBH.

Odegaard is rather good, Cedric should start over Bellerin, Smith Rowe is going to be an excellent player and I love how he and Tierney link up.

Oh, and **** Mourinho
