Hasn’t been at his best but I wouldn’t say he was out of form.

Played quality knocks in the first Test of both the England and Australian series.

Ishy Kishy should now kick out Dhawan for good in LO formats from the national side. If it were up to me, I would drop Pant too.

Kishan in T20s as opener is lock.. A left right combo with Rohit will suit him. On a good track he will demolish teams.
KL unfortunately has been scoring very slowly in IPl & in Aus too.
Quite a jigsaw puzzle atm.. But in one game there is enough that we can pin our hopes on.
Dhawan is done thankfully.

You need player like Stokes in SF and Final.

i'd love for ishan to open instead of rahul but he has to be given the license to go for it and not get dropped if he fails a little bit

and we do need a guy like him who can explode from ball 1

both really, in the end this is exactly the type of pitch where Root would have done well, and his strong English pubes would have stood against all obstacles,

India were the better team today and played the conditions better than England. Jordan, T Curran and Stokes bowled 3 disastrous overs consecutively that gave India the momentum and they didnt look back.

What I would ask though, is if there are any punishments for pathetic overrates in limited overs cricket anymore? India had only bowled 16 overs after their alloted 90 minutes today. Should there not be a deduction of overs for the chase, or runs added to the total for this anymore, or are fines issued?

Nah, lets face it, batting 2nd under the lights is a huge advantage as both matches have shown.
