Nope.Don't get too downhearted, fellow England fans. Run scoring on this pitch suddenly looks a total breeze, we have specialist batsmen right down to #9, just imagine what kind of score we can run up in the 3rd innings.
I'll guess at 180.
Yeah one gets the sense that they literally aren't sure what they're supposed to do. All the "fight" and "determination" in the world won't help you if you don't have that.I don’t actually think there’s a lack of fight or determination to do well. They’re just inadequate in unfamiliar conditions against quality opposition.
Of course, feel like watching Pope this series pretty much sums that up. It is sport though so losing always has to be seen as some kind of moral failing.Yeah one gets the sense that they literally aren't sure what they're supposed to do. Happy !! Come onWould have been pretty happy with a 3-1 loss going into the series but no we had to go and make them 3 of the worst defeats possible.
Yeah. India don't lose series at home.Happy !! Come on

The game was clearly still on when I posted that.Morning
Both of these last two we were at times in the position to make it a close game of it and failed utterly dismally. The game was clearly still on when I posted that.
No defending what came afterwards...
I find this one frustrating because its a game we could have made something of but oh well
They looked mentally a bit gone on Day 1 tbh. They tried hard with the ball, but realistically I don't think they could have put together a defensible total in the third innings even if they'd squeaked out a lead. Both of these last two we were at times in the position to make it a close game of it and failed utterly dismally.
3rd Test was the worst really, 70-2 on day one, even if we had made 200 we would have had a huge chance.
