I don’t actually think there’s a lack of fight or determination to do well. They’re just inadequate in unfamiliar conditions against quality opposition.

Yeah one gets the sense that they literally aren't sure what they're supposed to do. All the "fight" and "determination" in the world won't help you if you don't have that.

Of course, feel like watching Pope this series pretty much sums that up. It is sport though so losing always has to be seen as some kind of moral failing.

This could be an absolutely incredible year for India. If they win WTC and England series they have pretty much done it all.

Both of these last two we were at times in the position to make it a close game of it and failed utterly dismally.

3rd Test was the worst really, 70-2 on day one, even if we had made 200 we would have had a huge chance.

They looked mentally a bit gone on Day 1 tbh. They tried hard with the ball, but realistically I don't think they could have put together a defensible total in the third innings even if they'd squeaked out a lead.
