"flat and fast" is just what he does.Zampa helping us here by bowling flat and fast. Easiest ball to face on this deck. Why isn't he flighting it and hitting the length? Can't complain really. 4 overs of his bowling like this sort will help us hold on to wickets.
Yeah, missed opportunity given the conditions.I wish Phillips had bowled. Could be an option at the World Cup.
Has a Z in his name.Must admit for a long time I didn't understand why Australia picked Zampa, apart from the need to have a blond legspinner. I don't know when or how it happened but he now seems to be actually good.
He's not going to bowl much at this level to be honest. Unless he's consistent, changes pace, bowls good yorkers and can beat the batters with flight. Too much to ask of him right now.I wish Phillips had bowled. Could be an option at the World Cup.
If it's Munro and Conway opening then I agree.Looking ahead beyond this series to the T20WC. Munro in and Conway to keep.
Seiffert will still need to be in the squad as reserve keeper, though.
Do we really want Conway to keep though?Looking ahead beyond this series to the T20WC. Munro in and Conway to keep.

Sure but wasted opportunity on this deck. If Santner can turn even I can lol"flat and fast" is just what he does.
Don't see a problem with that. In a typical T20 the keepers at an average take like 10 balls behind the stumps. Easiest format to keep and not taxing on the body.Do we really want Conway to keep though?
19 (28) and 7 (10). It was a combined effort to allow Agar to go for 7 runs from 3 overs in the power play.Slow pitch or not, 19(28) is pretty bad.
If he was that good he'd be bowling consistently mate. Easy as. Kane and the rest of the coaching aren't that dud you'd think to not bowl if he's that good. Some people on here are seriously underselling phillips game vs spin. Was absolutely brilliant in the cpl last year on the slowest dust bowls I've ever seen dished up in t20's anywhere, expect him to go well here.
