FWIW, I dont think any of the stumpings were out. But given how the third umpiring has been with the Rahane non-dismissal and then that Joe Root hawkeye junk, it does make sense to add more tools for the third umpire.

Good effort from Stokes and Bairstow leading into lunch, ensured the session wasn’t convincingly won by India, but a lot more work to do. Heartening to know we still have Pope, Lawrence and Foakes to come despite losing those three quick wickets.

it's not really at the batsman when he's already played his shot though. I think it's probably just an annoying nervous habit he has. Just his way of burning off excess energy.
