Also with the Chennai and Motera DN match results, an intelligent curator would realize that the home batsmen can't play spin to save their lives.
Best bet would be to prepare a flat road with good true bounce which will retain pace throughout the match. In other words a traditional Aussie wicket. That's the only thing on which these pampered souls can put a bat to the ball it seems.
Such a colossal disappointment of a series after one of the best ever. English batsmen have been nothing more than club class barring Root. And their selectors have mud instead of brains inside their skulls to play 3 fast bowlers on this wicket. This lineup is probably the worst to visit this country in ages. I guess even Afghanistan would put up a better fight with the bat. This is almost like India bowlers have to turn up and they will roll over.
Not thr best advert for test cricket this series. And no way we are scheduling more DN tests in India. It is a complete waste of time, resources and makes cricket become its bizzaro version.
