I am afraid IPL will mess up his technique. This might sound weird, but BCCI should pay good money to 4-5 test specialists and ensure that they don't play the shorter formats. Agarwal adjusted his technique for T20s and it badly affected his game in the longer format. He looked rubbish in Australia. These kind of things can't be prevented unless players are provided an incentive to keep their focus on the on the longest format.yea this
How alpha would it be for Che Pu to dominate the IPL after the season he's just had. Especially after being picked up for base price.
Imagine if he then went on and top scored in England too.
I reckon it kind of wrecked Vijay a bit too.I am afraid IPL will mess up his technique. Cricket is possibly unique as a sport in that it actually competes against itself for talent. If you decide to be a pro basketball player your path to improvement and greater success is fairly clear; it's far more complicated with cricket.
Yeah I knew someone would bring this up but I actually don't buy it at all.You guys are forgetting the most obvious example of this in the Indian side:
You don't have to, but the evidence is pretty overwhelming.Yeah I knew someone would bring this up but I actually don't buy it at all.
Pujara - frustrating Tim Paine for more than a decade now.
Was looking for a longer Pujara video and found this. Debut test innings!
ok reverse burgeyPujara - frustrating Tim Paine for more than a decade now.
Also lol @ Ponting missing a straight forward direct hit there. A couple of CWers would have us believe Ponting never missed the stumps his whole life.
had he debuted at that time?Anyone remember why we did not have Pujara in the disaster tours of England and Australia post our WC win in 2011?
This match was from 2010 - the highlights that pupclarke posted.had he debuted at that time?
we were still carrying laxman maybe? or a random test spot for one of raina or yuvi maybe
One should hope so given the surgery was nearly a decade agoNah Pujara will be fine.
