How alpha would it be for Che Pu to dominate the IPL after the season he's just had. Especially after being picked up for base price.
Imagine if he then went on and top scored in England too.

I am afraid IPL will mess up his technique. This might sound weird, but BCCI should pay good money to 4-5 test specialists and ensure that they don't play the shorter formats. Agarwal adjusted his technique for T20s and it badly affected his game in the longer format. He looked rubbish in Australia. These kind of things can't be prevented unless players are provided an incentive to keep their focus on the on the longest format.

I reckon it kind of wrecked Vijay a bit too.
Cricket is possibly unique as a sport in that it actually competes against itself for talent. If you decide to be a pro basketball player your path to improvement and greater success is fairly clear; it's far more complicated with cricket.
