Whatever it takes!!!
India are staging a briliant comeback with a series and a WTC finals place on the line, so of course, Star Sports decides its important to discuss the strategy for CSK in the IPL auction and also show us what a "day in the life of MS Dhoni in the CSK hotel" is like. Good to see them concentrate on the important stuff.

Looked very plumb live tbh.
eh i always feel that if you’re right arm bowling around the wicket to a left hander and it hasn’t hit on the inside part of the front pad and shot off square on the offside, then you would feel very stiff to be given that out. it’s not a mistake per se but definitely i would expect those to typically be given not out.

I meant it looked like it hit the other pad live. Coz it was close to both pads.

it’s the other part too though. i can’t recall where i heard it but i’ve always used that “shoots off square/towards the slip” rule of thumb as a basic way to guess whether it’s sliding down or not, especially if the ball has been delivered from wide on the crease.

If England have Butcher's sucky attitude, they are done and dusted for this series tbh. The pitch is turning, yes but I have seen far FAR worse. The turn is consistent and the bounce is consistent and the pace is consistent. It is why batsmen who get set seem to play in a different wicket. Give yourselves a chance, FFS, instead of crying about how you have NEVER seen a track turn more etc. Butcher is just such a dumb arrogant ****.

Yep India could have got much more but some silly dismissals and a wretched lower order screwed them.

Its far from unplayable ffs
