A bit surprised how much lower league football went ahead tonight given the weather around the Country. My days of travelling to Lancashire on a freezing Tuesday night are in the past so I can’t say I would have been at Accrington, but nice win though. Their manager having a Keegan style meltdown after the match was quite comical.

For all the chatter from pundits about how exciting this league is, I am very skeptical. The title race over in January yet again and relegation also decided.

The much more derided Italian and French leagues actually much more competitive this season.
