I think that's Maharaj 3rd duck this series. Looks like he is batting with a toothpick.

Pak put on about 170 yesterday with their last 4 wickets. South Africa's lower order can't even manage to put 7 runs together.

Whatever it takes!!!
Wow.. being bowled out on the last day by the opening bowlers is some effort.. RSA really letting a golden opportunity go here. Markram will be kicking himself.

Pretty ruthless from Pakistan there. They have some very good signs. Their 1st test performance in NZ was very good too.

Well done to Pakistan. Some excellent bowling by the seamers today. The better team definitely came out on top.

Congrats Pakistan, thumped us

Thing that pisses me off, didnt we have Jacques Kallis as batting consultant but was let go because he wasnt 'tanned' enough. Was it that Govender woman. It is obvious batting is a problem, we needed all the help we can get

At the moment it's like knowing there are holes in your ship and being surprised when it sinks. :wallbash:

Was quite wary of Pakistan bowling with the second new ball that was due. Bowling South Africa out on the last day worth pretty much pave is outstanding. Reasonable game for neutrals. Wish it had gone to the last hour.

I love that Imran Butt was picked partly because he is supposedly a gun slip fielder. Great attention to detail. Catches win matches, a safe pair of hands is always so underrated. Hope he plays and we get to see him take a few nice grabs.
Haven’t watched the series that closely so maybe he’s been dropping them all over the place...but based on the highlights I just saw, this post from the first page of the thread seems quite prescient

They had a better backroom staff when England toured than what was on the field and they couldn’t score any runs. I am sure having Kallis around would help, he scored mountains of runs in Asia and loved Pakistan, but this isn’t a young team trying to find their feet. They don’t have much if any rope left.

NZ TAB had South Africa paying $1.41 to win a couple of hours ago. Seemed like a bizarre miscalculation.
I was surprised when I said Pakistan are 70% favorites but then Betfair had South Africa ahead by lunch. Gabba still playing on their mind I suppose.

That has already been nixed... and I don't think that Kallis was going to turn any of these batsmen into him. Lets actually start picking the correct batsmen first.

Congrats to Pakistan. Well bowled by the opening pair. Was hoping we would get away with a series draw or only a 1-0 before the tour, but not to be.
