Son Of Coco
Cricket Web: All-Time Legend
As Ponting would say, it comes down to intent. The Mona Lisa and Sistene Chapel weren't created initially because their creators were looking to cash in. They were created because it was the artist's vision. Most pop music is created with money in mind and so places what will sell over making something that is truly great. It becomes formulaic because that formula entices 12 year old girls and adults who have never grown up/are emotionally bereft to buy the music. The Mona Lisa and Sistene Chapel have both generated millions of dollars.
Art can make money. It can even be designed with the intent of making money (see: virtually any media). The quality of art has nothing to do with its commercial viability.
Having said that, Taylor Swift is ****.
Having said that some of the songs on the Trolls Soundtrack are very catchy.
