4th Test at the Gabba, Brisbane, 15 - 19 Jan 2021

India's bowling attack this match has done remarkedly well. Can't help but think that this Indian side have somehow got into Aus' heads'. On paper, this Australian batting line up should be scoring 500 against this attack without breaking a sweat. Australia haven't scored so much against this India side for a long long time that even when they've the opportunity to, they can't. Batsman's Stockholm Syndrome.

Lmao that's abysmal even by Brisbane standards. Is that the tail end of the cyclone?
Nah, just a passing storm, the likes of which we always get in Brisbane in summer.

Fun fact, many summer storms in Brisbane are as intense as category 2 cyclones.

Green apparently has had the best series for an Australian #6 debutant since Clarke in 04 India, his batting has been a huge + coming out of this series, looks a step above the Wade's, Harris's, burn's and Head's of the world.

Whatever it takes!!!
Yeah, a lot of potential. Will be fun to watch the battle of the allrounders in RSA with Mulder also there.

And @Spark , for some reason I thought the matches in RSA were gonna happen much earlier but if they are only departing for RSA by 24th Feb, that is plenty of time for these guys to recover. I thought they will be playing the tests by that time.

Yeah late summer Aus tests in SA are always late Feb/March affairs, there's always a bit of a gap that's usually filled by ODI series (and one of my pet peeves about CA's man management prior to that disastrous 2018 tour is that they didn't rest Smith and a few others from those ODIs just to give them a mental break to recharge before that series)

It's a real novelty to have a young new batsmen whose main issue, broadly speaking, was that he liked occupying the crease too much.

If someone had then told them "Oh by the way, during the course of the series you'll lose not only Kohli but also Shami, Umesh, Ashwin, Jadeja, Vihari and Bumrah" they'd be doing absolute somersaults.
Been ridiculous the injury list, it is like they had what we had in 3 ashes tours in the 90's all in one series and they can still win it tomorrow which is absolutely mad and one hell of an effort.
